This piece is indicative of the dry stane dykes in our region that could tell tales of the history of the Mull of Galloway! We are surrounded here by these walls on the lanes and pathways. They have amazing textures with the lichen, the nooks and crannies created by years of weathering and evidence of their almost makeshift rebuilding in places!  I find them fascinating as a resource for texture and composition, colour and harmony.

Wet felted and free stitched this piece also contains silks, yarns and nepps.

It is 10 inches square and framed in black. £75 plus UK pp.
